We are an integrated architectural and interior design studio with demonstrated experience and breadth of skill in large scale projects as well as smaller specialized and highly crafted commissions. We have established a reputation for mastering complexity – passionately synthesizing and balancing all the forces that define clearly conceived and executed projects ranging from a broad spectrum of Apartments, Showrooms, Corporate Offices, Housing, Commercial Spaces; Residences to other facilities – many for distinguished and well known clients.

The firm founded by Ar. Vishwanath Rao in 1973 offers a complete design service from Master planning and Architectural Design to Interior Design. This design driven studio provides innovative architectural solutions characterized by formation of space, precise details, investigation of materiality and quality of light. By blending a signature collaborative process with professional talent, creative thinking and emerging technologies, we meet the needs of the clients through an unique and a well drawn out problem solving process. Innovation is as much about finding simpler ways of doing things better as it is about finding new things to do, wherein design innovation being the touchstone of our creations.
For us, a project begins with a strategy, not a design solution. This strategy arises from understanding the fundamental drivers of a brief, the parameters, issues and the opportunities it represents. We search for the opportunities to create good responsive architecture & design in every site, budget and program. Whilst this might involve a complexity of thought, it yields a simple, legible proposal that can flex in response to change but still remain true to the core of the brief. Only then does a design idea emerge, which will be robust enough to survive the pressures that can be expected on the way to the finished project. Its execution may involve us drawing on previous projects and experience to push the boundaries of our design but always testing against the overall framework for the new.
Our design philosophy values work that is sympathetic to the human form, in scale and proportion, which designs from the inside, locating the person as the pivotal unit of measurement, standard and understanding, thereby reflecting a desire to improve the human comfort and experience through the built environment yet minimizing environmental impact and optimizing energy efficiency.
